Saturday March 7th, from 11.30 to 13.30 pm, workshop with Emanuela Romano, Yoga Roof Lugano South. In Italian.
To achieve and master good body mobility, three fundamental characteristics are necessary: strength and flexibility and a conscious use of breathing.
Develop strength to stabilize the joints and develop flexibility to create the space needed to optimize joint movement.
Breath control allows us to develop detachment and “non-reaction” even in the most intense moments of practice.
This intensive is strongly based on the explanation, demonstration and acquisition of various techniques whose execution, if practiced in a constant and conscious way, can lead anyone to achieve greater mobility regardless of age, natural predisposition, physical type and sports background.
The program of the day includes a targeted and detailed work to understand how to arrive safely and split of all kinds.
Any movement, to be sustainable, requires 3 fundamental components:
This approach will be used to understand how to prepare pelvis and legs so that splits of all kinds become possible and sustainable. The main objective of this intensive is to provide practitioners with a wide range of preparatory techniques so that everyone is then able to build a personal routine, tailored to their physical needs.

Emanuela Romano: Manu Romano, born in 1966, approached Yoga in 2006 during a long stay in New York for 15 years, when he started practicing Bikram Yoga daily until 2012, when he returned to Italy.
In 2013 she began to expand her knowledge of the discipline exploring different styles, traditional and not (hatha, ashtanga, power yoga, vinyasa flow, rocket yoga, dharma yoga, gokul yoga), under the guidance of established and respected masters. In 2015 she completed the first intensive course of 200 hours with Rishikesh Yog Peeth that certifies her as a Hatha Yoga teacher.
Parallel to the teaching she undertook that same year, Manu considered herself an eternal student in constant research and exploration, continuing and completing, in 2019, her 250-hour Plus training with Ambra Vallo, an extraordinary teacher to whom Manu owes much of her physical, mental and spiritual growth.
Fascinated by new scientific research in sports and convinced of the importance of cross training (all-round training) Manu proposes and teaches Hatha Raja Yoga and Flexibility and Propaedeutics for Yoga, combining the most effective and valid methods, scientifically proven and learned from internationally recognized masters such as: Amber Vallo, Mark Kan, Mark Das, Benjamin Sears, Talia Sutra, Mark Robberds, Daniel Rama, Carson Clay Calhoun, Stu Girlings, Jenny Rawlings, just to mention those who have left the greatest imprint.
Manu guides students from the most diverse backgrounds to regain the consciousness of the body in motion, thanks to which each of us can develop a personal method of training and Yoga practice, tailored to our own physical needs.
Manu currently lives and works in Como. He teaches in various facilities and regularly offers his workshops outside of Lombardy.
