Embracing the Power of Now: Mindfulness Yoga & Meditation

Saturday September 21th, from 11.30 am to 1.30 pm, with Lily Gaering, at Yoga Roof Lugano South.

This workshop is a discovery of mindfulness practices based on MBSR, Mindfulness Based Stressed Reduction, to allow us to accept who we are, connect to the present moment and inner peace, and to create space in body, mind, and heart. We will explore body and mind through mindful yoga, moving at a slower pace to “feel more, think less” and prepare for different types of meditation such as awareness of breath (AOB), walking meditation, loving kindness meditation and body scan.  We share our experiences in a circle or in small groups after each exploration.

Reservation for workshops are binding. If for any reason you should not be able to attend a workshop you are signed up for, we kindly ask you to cancel your reservation with at least 24 hour notice. Should this not be the case, the class will be billed. 

Lily: My name is Aurelie and my nickname “Lily”, I am a citizen of the world, I am French, from Aix-en-Provence mixed with origins from Madagascar. I lived in France, in Amsterdam and in Boston before moving to Lugano, Switzerland.

I believe in the beauty of human beings and the wisdom that lies within us. I experience a profound connection with my inner power and ressources while practicing yoga and meditation. That’s why I decided to become a yoga & mindfulness teacher, to empower people to know themselves better and to access their own inner sacred space through a body-mind-soul experience.

I love to teach yoga with always the same intention : to create space in the mind and a deep connection and awareness of body and heart.
