Sunday September 1st, from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm, workshop with Matthias Brun, Lugano South. In Italian, with some English possible.
A laboratory for the perception and relaxation of the whole body. In Yin Yoga we work passively with the body to stretch the connective tissue and activate the flow of energy and regeneration in the body. In this way the body is deeply nourished and the body and mind can finally relax at a deep level.
Myo stands for myofascial release, which can be translated as relaxation of the connective tissuse, and Yin stands for Yin Yoga, where we perform long and passive (3-5min) yoga postures, mainly sitting on the floor or lying down. In MyoYin Yoga we combine the targeted massage of the trigger point pressure points with a tennis ball and the subsequent yin yoga positions, which work in the specific muscle group (myofascial tissue) and in the corresponding target area. With both methods we stimulate the fascia and the connective tissue. Myofascia is the name given to the muscle tissue and the bands that surround it.
In the laboratory we become familiar with Yin Yoga, with different introductory positions of Yin Yoga. Then we will practice MyoYin Yoga. In this way we release tension in the tissue, increase the flow of energy and release the blocks and therefore also some pain. And we experience even deeper relaxation than with Yin Yoga alone.
Price: 45 CHF
