Prue first discovered the practice of Yoga at 17 years of age in her coastal hometown of Warrnambool, Australia and knew at once that she had found her path. After traveling the world for many years practicing under different teachers of Yoga and meditation she enrolled in 2009 at the Australian Shiatsu college where she competed her two year diploma in Shiatsu and Oriental therapies. It was during this time she encountered many wonderful teachers of yoga and movement therapies including Sue Scott and Hendrika van Dyk who guided her much deeper into her practice and gave her the skills and knowledge to begin teaching. After completing her diploma she ventured straight to India to ‘discover the heart of yoga’ and it was here in 2011 that she completed her 200hr RYT under the guidance of Sindu. V. Nayar in Kerala and began teaching the same year at Melbourne Natural Wellness Yoga Studio, Melbourne, Australia. Her other teaching experiences including creating three ongoing community centre classes in and around Melbourne, a chakra-yoga course and private yoga and pranayama classes from her clinic space in Warrnambool, Victoria. At the end of 2012 she relocated to Lugano Switzerland.
Prue’s classes are a fusion of her knowledge and experiences in vinyasa and hatha yoga, zen meditation and pranayama. She aims with honour and respect to reflect the wonderful guidance she has had over the years and share her experiences as a teacher and continuous student.
